Education & Technology

Education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking cycles of poverty, crime, and social exclusion. At Anchor Heritage Initiative, we use education and technology as catalysts for lasting transformation within correctional facilities. Our programmes provide inmates with opportunities to develop literacy, digital competence, vocational knowledge, and critical thinking skills that improve their prospects after release. Through initiatives such as the pioneering Bidemi Oladipupo ICT Hub at Kirikiri Medium Custodial Centre and the Chess as a Correctional Tool Initiative, we are redefining correctional rehabilitation by introducing innovative learning opportunities rarely available within custodial settings. By combining technology, education, and intellectual development, we are preparing inmates not only to secure employment but also to become responsible citizens, entrepreneurs, problem-solvers, and lifelong learners capable of making meaningful contributions to society.
