Rehabilitation does not end at the point of release, it truly begins when ex-inmates return to society and face the challenges of rebuilding their lives.
Our Aftercare Initiative ensures that individuals who have completed their sentences are not left to navigate this transition alone. We provide structured post-release support that helps beneficiaries regain stability, restore dignity, and become self-sufficient members of their communities.
Currently, Anchor Heritage Initiative supports 49 ex-inmates through our aftercare programme. Beneficiaries receive assistance to establish small-scale businesses and other income-generating ventures, enabling them to earn a legitimate livelihood and reduce the likelihood of reoffending.
Beyond financial support, we continue to offer mentorship, guidance, counselling, and follow-up engagement, helping ex-inmates overcome barriers to reintegration while encouraging personal growth and responsible citizenship.
At Anchor Heritage Initiative, we believe that every individual deserves a genuine second chance. Through our Aftercare Initiative, we continue walking alongside our beneficiaries long after they leave custody, ensuring that rehabilitation leads to lasting transformation rather than temporary change.
